Membrane filtration
Filtration for your application
Membrane filtration covers several techniques for treating liquids. Holland Filter helps you consider microfiltration (MF), ultrafiltration (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO). The liquid, the substances to be separated and the required quality determine which technique suits your process.
Microfiltration (MF)
Microfiltration is a membrane technique for separating suspended particles from a liquid. The membrane and system configuration are selected to suit the liquid composition and application.
Ultrafiltration (UF)
Ultrafiltration provides finer separation than microfiltration and can be used to separate finer particles and larger molecules. Together, we assess the separation your process requires.
Reverse osmosis (RO)
Reverse osmosis is one of the techniques within membrane filtration. RO can be used where reducing dissolved salts and other dissolved substances in water is required. The necessary pretreatment and system configuration depend on the water quality and intended use.
Engineering and integration
We discuss your feed liquid, required capacity, quality requirements and available installation space. Working with engineering firms, installation contractors and OEM partners, we help select and integrate a suitable membrane solution.
